Vacation Rental Description:

Perched on Watson Mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, Whitetail Lodge has breathtaking mountain views of both Georgia and North Carolina.

Whitetail Lodge is conveniently located near the historical town of Blue Ridge, Georgia, known for its many unique arts, craft shops, and antiques. Murphy, North Carolina is also nearby for antiquing and flea market exploring. Hiking, mountain bike riding, horseback riding, Toccoa River fly-fishing, whitewater kayaking & rafting, and boating are within a few miles of the Lodge.

Sleeping up to six, this decorator-furnished cabin hosts two master bedroom suites each with full baths plus an open spacious loft with a queen size Montana-style futon.

The loft area also has a private reading deck and an office nook equipped with a Fax/Phone/Answering machine for those who may need to bring along work from the office. Though we highly suggest leaving the work behind and simply enjoy the mountain scenery around you.

The Great Room features a wood burning fieldstone fireplace and offers a large flat screen TV, VCR/DVD and a Stereo system. The kitchen at Whitetail Lodge is fully equipped with a service for eight with all the everyday modern conveniences of home, and a washer & dryer. For grilling outside, a park style grill is located adjacent to the main deck. Other amenities include a Pool Table, Foos Ball & Board Games for your recreation.

For relaxing at Whitetail Lodge, sit out on the covered deck and listen to the cascading brook, the many songbirds, and observe the wildlife-or indulge in the soothing waters of the four person hot tub.

"Gas shortage, economic downturn and an unemployed spouse led us to Blue Ridge-a quick getaway from Rome, and an affordable vacation option for fall break. We'll come back, no doubt-all the amenities of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and half the drive! Your cabin was clean and comfortable. Blue Ridge is a great town - loved the art galleries and Brown's Seed & Feed.
We picked up giant acorns as a souvenir, bought fudge at the Chocolate Express, held puppies at Brown's and drove to Murphy N.C. one day.
The kids loved the porch swing and the game room. The wife loved the hot tub and I loved the rainbow we saw on our last day, right in frontof the French doors. "God's Promise"- Autumn said.
